We, the Peränens are winemakers. We also cultivate olive trees and we have several dogs, ponies, two cows and a few chickens. We are organic farmers, so our general concern is  environment protection and overall sustainability. We strive to keep our ecological footprint and impact on the natural resources as small as possible. We use solar panels and hybrid cars and grow only water efficient plants… We are passionate about our corner of Chianti, the Land of the Black Rooster, but we enjoy sharing the beauty and benign qualities of Candialle with others.
